It seems the rumors are true, and the torch has been passed to Adam Lambert, who confirmed today to the U.K.’s Daily Star that he will be the new frontman of the epic British rock band Queen. The American Idol runner-up has made it clear he has no intention of replacing the late Freddie Mercury, he only wishes to “pay tribute to Freddie and the band by singing some fucking great songs.” Read more about Lambert joining Queen at RollingStone.com.
