The Strokes are officially back and have released a new track on their Soundcloud. “One Way Trigger” starts as a busy, synth-driven cut that features some unexpected falsetto from frontman Julian Casablancas. Then, as the song approaches the minute mark, the guitar jangles kick in and Casablancas briefly dips into his expected lower, sultry register. The band doesn’t forget about their famous guitar sound, either, busting out an ax solo midway. Click through to listen to “One Way Trigger.”
